PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body odor improving agent for ingestion into body containing an odor improving substance, which improves body odor by releasing the substance through the body surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for improving body odor including: ingesting into body at least one of a polar compound and a terpene, which is a body odor improving agent for ingestion into body or a beverage/food including the body odor improving agent for ingestion into body each containing at least one of the polar compound and the terpene as a body odor improving substance, and releasing the substance through the body surface.
