An absorbent article according to the present disclosure has the following configuration. This absorbent article (1) is characterized in that: an absorbent body (14) is provided with, in the thickness direction (T) thereof, an intermediate layer (43) and an absorbent layer (41) including a highly absorbent polymer； the intermediate layer (43) is provided with a first sheet portion (43a) far from the absorbent layer (41) and a second sheet portion (43b) near to the absorbent layer (41)； the first sheet portion (43a) is in contact with the absorbent layer (41) in a widthwise central region (WC) and is not connected to a member present on a liquid non-permeable sheet (13) side of the first sheet portion (43a) in a pair of widthwise adjacent regions (WA)； and the second sheet portion (43b) is in contact with the absorbent layer (41) in the pair of widthwise adjacent regions (WA).Le but de la présente invention est de fournir un article absorbant ayant une excellente propriété d'absorption répétée.
