The present invention is based on the identification of a cohort of polyurethane block copolymers that are particularly suited for use in pharmaceutical polymeric drug-device units and which offer improved control of drug release. In particular, there is provided a polymeric drug-device unit comprising a polyurethane block copolymer obtainable by reacting together a poly(alkylene oxide) a difunctional compound a difunctional isocyanate and optionally a block copolymer comprising poly(alkylene oxide) blocks and quinagolide as a pharmaceutically active agent. The drug-device units may find application in the treatment and/or prevention of endometriosis.La présente invention est basée sur lidentification dune cohorte de copolymères séquencés de polyuréthane qui sont particulièrement adaptés pour utilisation dans des unités médicament-dispositif polymères pharmaceutiques et qui permettent un contrôle amélioré de la libération de médicament. En particulier, linvention concerne une unité médicament-dispositif polymère comprenant un copolymère séquencé de polyuréthane pouvant être obtenu par réaction conjointement dun poly(oxyde dalkylène) un composé difonctionnel un isocyanate difonctionnel et facultativement un copolymère séquencé comprenant des blocs de poly(oxyde dalkylène) et du quinagolide en tant quagent actif pharmaceutique. Les unités médicament-dispositif peuvent avoir une application dans le traitement et/ou la prévention de lendométriose.
