PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can shorten a swing period while suppressing damage to a swing mechanism, in the weeder using a swinging weeding part.SOLUTION: A weeder of the present invention has a weeding unit 53 having a swing tooth 532 and a swing part for swinging the weeding unit 53 to the right and left. The swing part has a laterally extending drive shaft 51, a drive mechanism for rotating the drive shaft 51, and a cam 52. The cam 52 is a conversion mechanism for converting the rotation dynamic force of the drive shaft 51 into the right and left reciprocating dynamic force. Also, the weeding unit 53 is connected to the cam 52. In the weeder of the present invention, the weeding unit 53 is connected with the cam 52 are connected without a swinging transfer mechanism such as a swing rod. Accordingly, drive torque is suppressed, so that the swing period can be shortened. Also, the damage to a connection portion between the weeding unit 53 and the cam 52 can be suppressed. Namely, the swinging operation of the weeding unit 53 can be speeded up, while suppressing the damage to the swing mechanism.
