The invention is linked to a formulation applied for treating and preventing the biodeterioration of a material of cultural heritage: cedarwood. The formulation used is an environmentally friendly mixture of vegetable sunflower oil and of the essential oil of Mentha pulegium and Rosmarinus officinalis. Said environmentally friendly formulation maintains the hydrophobic nature of the wood and gives it a considerable electron-donor character while exerting adhesion resistance with respect to the fungi responsible for the biodegradation of cedarwood.L'invention est liée à une formulation appliquée pour traiter et prévenir la biodétérioration d'un matériau du patrimoine culturel : le bois de cèdre. La formulation utilisée est un mélange écologique de l'huile de tournesol végétale et de l'huile essentielle du Mentha pulegium et Rosmarinus officinalis. Ladite formulation écologique maintient le caractère hydrophobe du bois et lui confère un caractère donneur d'électrons considérable tout en exerçant un pouvoir antiadhésif contre les champignons responsables de la biodégradation du bois de cèdre.
