A method and apparatus for assessing brain fatigue are described. The method includes obtaining a video from a subject； Extracting a vibration image of the subject from the video； Extracting values of a plurality of parameters related to emotion from the vibration image； Extracting a plurality of factor scores using the values of the parameters； The factor score is then applied to a predetermined rule base to include brain fatigue.뇌피로를 평가하는 방법 및 장치에 대해 기술된다. 방법은 피험자로부터 동영상을 획득하는 단계； 동영상으로부터 피험자의 진동 이미지를 추출하는 단계；진동 이미지로부터 감성에 관련한 다수의 매개변수들의 값을 추출하는 단계；매개변수들의 값을 이용하여 다수의 팩터 스코어(Factor Score) 를 추출하는 단계； 그리고 팩터 스코어를 소정의 룰베이스에 적용하여 뇌피로를 포함한다.
