FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely operative orthopedics, and can be used for implant positioning in knee endoprosthesis replacement in an oncological pathology in the knee joint area. In the patient's back position, surgical access to the knee joint is performed, a vertical laser beam is formed in the form of a laser plane so that the mechanical axis of the operated member is located in the laser plane. In the anterior edge of tibia below the bone resection level and in the anterior femoral surface above the bone resection level, K-wires are inserted with an end thread of the cortical layer thickness so that they are located in the plane of the vertical laser beam. Same blocks are rigidly fixed on the K-wires with the longitudinal groove therein so that the vertical laser beam passes through the grooves of the blocks, at the same time the width of the groove corresponds to the width of the vertical laser beam. It is measured by means of a line of distance between the blocks, as well as between the block on the shin and the upper edge of the tibia； the K-wires are removed with the blocks fixed on them. It is followed with resection of bones forming a knee joint, installing in previously made holes of K-wire with blocks fixed on them, selecting test components of endoprosthesis, installing them so that vertical laser beam freely passes through slots of blocks, and that the distance between the blocks, as well as between the shin block and the upper edge of the tibia, corresponds to the initial values.
