PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for Raman spectroscopy capable of easily handling porous material in Raman spectrometry.SOLUTION: The substrate for Raman spectroscopy 1 formed in a tablet using powder of mesoporous silica material in which the bore diameter of vacancy is uniform, is used for Raman spectrometry. One face of the tablet includes a measurement area 10 the surface roughness of which is smaller than roughness which corresponds to the focus depth of excitation laser irradiated on to the one face. The substrate for Raman spectroscopy 1 is manufactured using a ground finished metal mold by pressing powder, which has vacancies of uniform bore diameter, with a force of 10 to 100 kgf/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
