PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detecting apparatus for detecting the heart beat, respiration, lying posture, lying position and entering and leaving the bed by comparing the shape of a reference waveform with the shape of a measured waveform.
SOLUTION: This biological information detecting apparatus 1 includes: a sensor part 11 provided with a pressure detecting sensor for detecting the pressure caused from an organism and propagated through bedding a reference waveform storing part 131 for previously storing a shape pattern of a reference waveform which is substantially common to the respective solid bodies of an organism corresponding to the biological information to be detected and an biological information detecting part 141 for generating a measured waveform showing an output change of the sensor part 11 to the passage of time from the output of the sensor part 11, and comparing the shape pattern of the generated measured waveform with the shape pattern of reference waveform to detect the biological information and output the detected detection result.
