PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more improved method for maintaining pH in manufacturing and pharmaceutically preparing of a medicine and a pharmaceutical composition, particularly manufacturing and pharmaceutically preparing of bio-pharmaceutical protein and a bio-pharmaceutical protein composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition containing pharmaceutical protein, in an equilibrium state of pH of the composition, 21°C, 1 atmospheric pressure, and atmosphere, the protein has buffering capacity per unit volume of the buffering capacity of approximately 4.0 mM sodium acetate buffer solution or more in pure water in the pH range of pH 5.0 to 4.0 or pH 5.0 to 5.5 under the same condition, and furthermore, buffering capacity per unit volume of the composition under the same condition excluding the buffering capacity of the protein is the buffering capacity per unit volume of 2.0 mM sodium acetate buffer solution or less in pure water in the pH range of pH range 5.0 to 4.0 or 5.0 to 5.5 under the same condition, and the composition is approved of pharmaceutical application by authority having legal power of giving approval of pharmaceutical application.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】医薬品の製造および製剤化ならびに医薬組成物の、特にバイオ医薬タンパク質の製造および製剤化ならびにバイオ医薬タンパク質組成物の、pHを維持するさらなる改良された方法の提供。【解決手段】医薬タンパク質を含む組成物であって、該組成物のpH、21℃、一気圧、および大気との平衡状態において、該タンパク質は、該同一条件下で、pH 5.0～4.0またはpH 5.0～5.5のpH範囲の純水中の約4.0 mM酢酸ナトリウム緩衝液の緩衝能以上の単位体積あたりの緩衝能を有し、さらに、該タンパク質の緩衝能を除いた該同一条件下での該組成物の単位体積あたりの緩衝能は、同条件下で、pH範囲5.0～4.0または5.0～5.5のpH範囲の純水中の2.0mM酢酸ナトリウム緩衝液の単位体積あたりの緩衝能以下であり、該組成物は、医薬用途の承認を与える法的権限を持つ当局により医薬用途が承認されているものである、前記組成物。【選択図】なし
