PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouth piece for preventing the onset of a periodontal disease by guiding saliva, which is secreted into the oral cavity on the inside of a row of teeth when a person goes to bed and while he/she sleeps, to an area between the outside of the row of the teeth and lips.SOLUTION: A detachable soft plastic separation plate 1 maintaining a narrow gap with respect to the upper and lower gums, or a foam capable of absorbing saliva and making the saliva flow out is attached between right and left back teeth and lips at bedtime, and the saliva secreted into the oral cavity 3 is absorbed.
