PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massager, with armrest parts, each provided with a forearm treatment mechanism, that is smoothly attachable/detachable, and will not be an obstacle when a user stands up or gets seated so as to be usable comfortably.SOLUTION: The chair type massager 1a has forearm inserting opening parts 61a for the forearms of the user to be inserted from the inward back side of the armrest parts 14a. Cavity parts 62a are extended from the forearm inserting opening parts 61a for the forearms with hands of the user to be inserted to the armrest parts 14a to be held there. The cavity part 62a is formed of an outside vertical wall 622a and an inside vertical wall 623a respectively provided on the right and the left of the width of the armrest part 14a, and a bottom surface part. A hand rest part 65a is provided at an upper surface front end part of the outside vertical wall 622a and the inside vertical wall 623a.
