The dough drum (3) can be rotated or pivoted between a portioning position, in which dough can be introduced into the receiving chambers (31), and a transfer position, and the dough drum (3) is positioned relative to the kneading drum (1) in the transfer position such that dough located in the receiving chambers (31) can be transferred from the dough drum (3) to the kneading drum (1) in a transfer region (4).
