The present invention relates to 6-gingerol useful as a radio protective agent and a 6-gingerol treatment for effectively protecting a cell against a radiation exposure. By preprocessing the 6-gingerol for an hour before radiating ionizing radiation, the present invention enables to be usefully used for the exposure to the ionizing radiation as increasing a protection effect for cell damage.본 발명은 방사선 방호제로 유용한 6-진저롤에 관한 것이며, 방사선 노출에 대해 효과적으로 세포를 보호하기 위한 6-진저롤 처리에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서 6-진저롤을 이온화 방사선 조사하기 전 1시간의 전처리를 함으로써 세포 손상에 대한 방어 효과를 증대시켜서 이온화 방사선에의 노출에 대해 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
