This document discusses, among other things, systems and methods to receive a first target neuromodulation field location, receive a stimulation pattern, determine a sequence of target neuromodulation field locations based on the first target neuromodulation field location and the stimulation pattern, determine a neuromodulation waveform for each electrode in a plurality of stimulation electrodes for each of the determined target neuromodulation field locations, and deliver the determined neuromodulation waveforms to the plurality of stimulation electrodes to provide the stimulation pattern to a patient to provide a therapy.
