PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture needle for an ultrasonic endoscope permitting manufacture of a needle tube obtaining a clear ultrasonic echo image without smoothing the unevenness formed on the outer surface of the needle tube in the sandblasting process and without cost increase, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The distal end 12a of a raw material pipe of the needle tube 12 is obliquely cut, and is subjected to the chemical polishing process thereafter.
