PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus which is improved in operability of a lock mechanism.
SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus 1 includes a connection part 14 having the lock mechanism 30 for fastening and fixing the wire 23b of a treatment tool 23 at the proximal end side opening end 33 of an insertion part 13. The lock mechanism 30 of the connection part 14 includes: a fastening and fixing part 36 having a fastening part 36a for fastening and fixing the wire 23b of the treatment tool 23 to be put through a treatment tool put-through passage 22a at the proximal end side opening end 33 a fastening rotation part 31 which is attached to the fastening and fixing part 36 so as to be relatively freely rotatable, and has a pressing part 32a pressurizing the fastening part 36a linked with the rotation and fastening the fastening part 36a and a coming-off preventing part 37 for preventing the fastening rotation part 31 from coming off the fastening and fixing part 36.
