An oral chew for toothed animals including at least one outer stabilizing structure (8) and at least one inner stabilizing structure (16), said inner stabilizing structure (16) substantially supporting one or more mesh segments (10) exposed through one or more openings (12) through said outer stabilizing structure (8) to chewing and/or grasping by an animal. The mesh (10) is supported within the interstice (22) between the outer stabilizing structure (8) and the inner stabilizing structure (16) and rubbing against an animals teeth and/or gums during chewing or grasping with oral surfaces.
