PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing reel which has brake means that is capable of changing brake force to rotation of a spool in accordance with an applied current and capable of adjusting the drag force in consideration of tension fluctuations due to the change in a take-up radius of a fishing line wound to a spool.SOLUTION: A finishing reel includes: brake means 103 which can change the brake force to the rotation of a spool 101 in accordance with an applied current and control means 105 which controls the current applied to the brake means 103.
