PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a waterproofing sound-transmitting membrane while sound-transmitting properties and waterproofness when water pressure is applied repeatedly thereon are taken into consideration.SOLUTION: A waterproofing sound-transmitting membrane 10 has a sound transmission region 13c comprising a single layered polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) porous membrane 11. The porous membrane 11 has an area density of 10-40 g/m, a permeability in the thickness direction thereof of 9-30 s/100 mL, and a burning degree of 85-100. The permeability is a value given by the B method (Gurley method) in the permeability measuring methods regulated in the JIS L1096. The burning degree is a value given by {(&Dgr;H-&Dgr;H)/(&Dgr;H-&Dgr;H)}×100, where &Dgr;His a heat of fusion of a polytetrafluoroethylene unfired product, &Dgr;His a heat of fusion of a polytetrafluoroethylene fired product, and &Dgr;His a heat of fusion of the polytetrafluoroethylene porous membrane 11.
