The machine (M) has an elongated operating unit (3) changed between an operating position (A) oriented transverse to a driving direction (R) and a transport position oriented in the driving direction. A bevel gear (5) is attached to the operating unit, where a drive-shaft guiding a tractive unit connection (Z) and a distributor-hinge shaft (7) guiding the operating unit are connected or locakable at the gear. The gear is arranged in a displaced manner, is guided in the transportation position during changing of the operating unit and is displaced in a balancing position.
