Intended is to provide a fan type insect-pest exterminating device, which is preferable for use with the user and excellent in the insect-pest exterminating performances. In the device, therefore, an axial fan (3) is driven to suck air from an intake port (6), and the air is passed through a drug carrier (2) to contain the insect-pest exterminating component. This air is discharged from an exhaust port (7) so that it may diffuse into the air. The intake port (6) is opened in the axial direction on the side upstream of the axial fan (3). The exhaust port (7) is opened radially on the downstream side of the axial fan (3). This axial fan (3) is equipped with an annular wall (8) enclosing the axial fan (3), and an air passage (9) for establishing the communication between the exhaust port (7) and the discharge portion of the axial fan (3). Thus, the air discharged axially from the axial fan (3) is exhausted, after changed into radial directions, from the exhaust port (7).
