Methods and apparatus for the application of machine learning to radiographicimages of animals. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a set ofradiographic images captured of an animal, applying one or moretransformations tothe set of radiographic images to create a modified set, segmenting themodified setusing one or more segmentation artificial intelligence engines to create a setofsegmented radiographic images, feeding the set of segmented radiographicimages torespective ones of a plurality of classification artificial intelligenceengines, outputtingresults from the plurality of classification artificial intelligence enginesfor the set ofsegmented radiographic images to an output decision engine, and adding the setofsegmented radiographic images and the output results from the plurality ofclassification artificial intelligence engines to a training set for one ormore of theplurality of classification artificial intelligence engines. Computer-readableapparatusand computing systems are also disclosed.
