An illuminated tubing set system includes an optical element, a fluid conduit, and a power source. At least one fluid input port can be provided in the infusion manifold housing, and the at least one fluid input port can be configured to (i) connect fluidically to illuminated medical tubing and (ii) be in fluidic communication with the at least one fluid channel through the infusion manifold housing. A fluid output port can be provided in the infusion manifold housing, and the fluid output port could be configured to be in fluidic communication with the at least one fluid channel through the infusion manifold housing.
