The present invention relates to topical pharmaceutical emulsion compositions comprising a therapeutically effective amount of 3,5-Dihydroxy-4-isopropyl-trans,-stilbene or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, an oil phase, a water phase, a surfactant, and an antioxidant, and wherein the emulsion composition is homogeneous and/or the active is solubilized in the oil phase. The invention also relates to methods of treating a dermatological condition or disorder in a patient by administering the present compositions to the skin of the patient.La présente invention concerne des compositions d'émulsion pharmaceutiques topiques qui comprennent une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace de 3,5-Dihydroxy-4-isopropyl-trans-stilbène, ou un de ses sels de qualité pharmaceutique, une phase huileuse, une phase aqueuse, un tensioactif et un antioxydant, la composition d'émulsion étant homogène et/ou l'agent actif étant solubilisé dans la phase huileuse. L'invention concerne également des procédés de traitement d'une affection ou d'une pathologie dermatologique chez un patient par l'application desdites compositions sur la peau du patient.
