The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, particularly indicated for cleaning the skin, which comprises a plant oil portion comprising:- at least 70% of fatty chain with 18 carbon atoms, C18, such chain may be either saturated or unsaturated；- up to 20% of fatty chain with 16 carbon atoms, C16, such chain may be either saturated or unsaturated；- at least one saponifying agent；and an aqueous portion.Further, the invention relates to a process for preparing the cosmetic composition and the use of this composition.Such a cosmetic composition has acceptance and pleasantness that are superior to those of the prior-art products, as well as extremely superior formation of film.
