PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for iontophoresis, capable of achieving transmembrane drug delivery for administering ionic drugs through a cornea.SOLUTION: The holder 10 for iontophoresis is used for an iontophoresis device for driving an ionic drug by an electromotive force to percutaneously administer the drug from an acting side electrode device 30, and causes the acting side electrode device 30 to be held in a living body. The holder 10 has a structure in which an ion-exchange membrane 32 is formed on the surface of the acting side electrode device 30 to which an electromotive force acts, a device fixing section 14 in which the acting side electrode device 30 is positioned and fixed is provided on the holder body 12 to be placed and attached on the surface of an eyeball 22, and the acting side electrode device 30 is supported on a cornea 24 at a position where the device does not contact the cornea 24.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】角膜を通じてイオン性薬剤を投与する経膜ドラッグデリバリーを実現可能とするイオントフォレーシス用保持具を提供すること。【解決手段】イオン性薬剤を起電力で駆動させて作用側電極装置30から経皮的に投与するイオントフォレーシス用装置に用いられて、作用側電極装置30を生体に対して保持せしめるイオントフォレーシス用保持具10であって、作用側電極装置30の起電力作用面にイオン交換膜32を配すると共に、眼球22の表面に載置されて装着される保持具本体12に対して、作用側電極装置30が位置決め固定される装置固定部14を設け、作用側電極装置30を角膜24上で角膜24に接触しない位置に支持せしめるイオントフォレーシス用保持具10を提供し得た。【選択図】図1
