Foldable wheeled stretcher, in the form of a chair with a seat (1) and a backrest (2) which are connected to each other with a hinge (3) for the folding of the stretcher in which seat (1) and backrest (2) against each other lie and the unfolding of the stretcher in which seat (1) and backrest (2) form a chair. A set of wheels (19,20) for moving the stretcher in a to the wheels (19,20) tilted position, wherein the axes (17,18) of the wheels (19,20) in the plane of the seat ( 1) are situated at a distance from the axis of the hinge (3) which is smaller than the radius of the wheels (19,20) so as to obtain a stable verrijdstand at slight tilting of the stretcher. Armsteunen(30,31) zijn draaibaar aan weerszijden aan de zitting(1) bevestigd en verbonden door een verbindingsstuk(32) dat zich aan de achterkant van de rugleuning(2) uitstrekt en zowel in ingeklapte toestand als in uitgeklapte toestand(fig.4) van de brancard bevestigbaar
