PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide blood treatment beads which have a high biocompatibility, and a biocompatible polymer carried on which surfaces has less elution into the blood.SOLUTION: The blood treatment beads comprise porous beads and a polymer carried on surfaces of the porous beads, the porous beads being comprised of at least one resin selected from a group consisting of acrylic resin, styrene resin, and cellulose resin, and the polymer including a zwitterionic monomer as a monomeric unit.
