PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low viscosity, high-energy density, high protein nutritional liquid food and/or a reconstitutable powder.SOLUTION: A liquid nutritional composition is provided that comprises: 2 to 25 wt.% of (a) a calcium-depleted milk protein concentrate (MPC) which has undergone a heat treatment to at least 80°C and has between 15 to 45 wt.% of the calcium removed 0 to 30 wt.% of (b) lipid and 5 to 45 wt.% of (c) carbohydrate, wherein the nutritional composition has a viscosity of less than 200 cP at a temperature of 20°C and shear rate of 100 sec-1 and at least energy density of 0.5 kcal/ml, and wherein the protein provides 10 to 40% of total energy content of the composition.
