The present invention relates to an upper limb rehabilitation exercise mechanism. A plurality of recessed portions are formed in a surface of the upper limb rehabilitation exercise mechanism according to the present invention and a ball is put on a surface of the recessed portion. The ball is moved to the adjacent recessed portion by a patient using his or her upper limb. Then, an upper limb rehabilitation exercise can be effectively performed for the stroke patient or the like with his or her upper limb activity intentionally restricted so that the exercise capability of the paralyzed upper limb can be improved. The present invention includes: a housing that has an open upper portion and has a predetermined space inside and a pivoting body coupled through one side surface to be positioned in the housing, pivoting upward, downward, rightward, and leftward, having the plurality of recessed portions recessed at a predetermined depth in its surface, and made up of a handle which protrudes to the outside from the housing and can be gripped by the patient requiring rehabilitation.
