PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a spool brake device for a dual-bearing reel to adjust braking force over a wide range and appropriately apply to a spool a braking force according to the spool rotation.SOLUTION: A spool brake structure 20 comprises a spool brake mechanism 23 and a spool braking force adjustment mechanism 64. The spool brake mechanism 23 has: a conductor 50 rotating interlocked with a spool 12 and a magnet 51 opposable to the conductor 50. The spool brake mechanism 23 apples brakes to the rotation of the spool 12 on the basis of the magnetic force of the magnet 51 acted on the conductor 50. The spool braking force adjustment mechanism 64 moves the magnet 51 relative to the conductor 50 in a multiple ratios on the basis of the magnetic force of the magnet 51. Additionally, the spool braking force adjustment mechanism 64 causes the magnetic force to change according to the move of the magnet 51.
