PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which both prevention of electric leakage and fixing of components are realized with downsizing achieved.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a first member formed cylindrically having an end face at an end, the first member including one of a notch formed by notching a part of the end face and a through-hole formed radially extending through the vicinity of the end face and a second member formed cylindrically or columnarly having a step face in the peripheral surface. The first and second members are joined together, in a configuration with the end face in contact with the step face, by way of a first joining portion formed by filling a first adhesive into the notch or into the through-hole and a second joining portion formed by applying a second adhesive to a portion which does not overlap the portion filled with the first adhesive in the peripheral surface.
