PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and ultrasonograph capable of improving an S/N ratio in a reception when using an aperture synthesis.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes first piezoelectric vibrator groups 21, second piezoelectric vibrator groups 22, and switches 31. The first piezoelectric vibrator groups 21 are directly connected to a control unit for controlling transmission/reception of ultrasonic waves respectively. The second piezoelectric vibrator groups 22 are disposed between the first piezoelectric vibrator groups and connected in parallel to one of adjacent first piezoelectric vibrator groups 21 and the other of the adjacent first piezoelectric vibrator groups 21 at prescribed timing.
