PURPOSE: A novel synthetic peptide in which gene transfer efficiency is improved and a gene transfer method using the same are provided to enhance gene delivery ability to cells or inside the organs, thereby being used for a gene transfer. CONSTITUTION: A novel synthetic peptide in which gene transfer efficiency is improved includes comprises the amino acid sequence of the sequence number 1(SEQ ID NO:1) or 2 originated from Tat or NLS (nuclear localization sequence) of HIV(human immunodeficiency virus). The gene transmission peptide is represented by chemical formula 1 or chemical formula 2 (Ya-Xb-Cys-Cys-Xc-Yd). In the chemical formula 1 and 2, X indicates amino acid sequence of the sequence number 1 and Y indicates the amino acid sequence of the sequence number 2. The gene transfer peptide is expressed as the amino acid sequence selected from the sequence number 3-10. In the gene transfer complex, genes to be transferred to the peptide are combined. The gene is DNA or RNA. The composite additionally includes cation liposome.본 발명은 HIV(human immunodeficiency virus)의 Tat 또는 NLS(nuclear localization sequence)로부터 유래된 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 신규의 유전자 전달 펩타이드, 이를 포함한 유전자 전달 복합체 및 이를 이용한 유전자 전달 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에서 합성된 신규의 유전자 전달 펩타이드는 세포투과 단백질의 특정 서열을 포함하여 세포 또는 조직 내로의 유전자 전달 능력을 높일 수 있는 바, 유전자 전달체로서 널리 활용될 수 있다.
