A telescoping syringe (1) suitable for use with medications and other ejectable or injectable fluids is presented. The syringe (1) includes a plunger (2), a barrel (3), and a valve (4). The plunger (2) is extendible from and retractable into the barrel (3). The plunger (2) defines a first reservoir (14). The barrel (3) defines a second reservoir (15) as the plunger (2) is extended from the barrel (3). The valve (4) is disposed at one end of the plunger (2) adjacent to a nipple (5) extending from the barrel (3). A first sealing interface (28) is formed by the valve (4) and a distal wall (16) along the barrel (3) adjacent to the nipple (5). A second sealing interface (29) is formed by an annular flange (27) along the one-way valve and an annular groove (26) along the plunger (2). A third sealing interface (31) is formed by the valve (4) and a circumferential end (30) along the plunger (2). The sealing interfaces (28, 29, 31) are closed prior to extension of the plunger (2) from the barrel (3) thereby preventing a gas (51) from entering and a fluid (37) from existing the first reservoir (14). The sealing interfaces (28, 29, 31) are open when the plunger (2) is extended from the barrel (3) so that the gas (51) enters the first reservoir (27) via an inlet(s) (18) along the annular groove (26) and fluid (37) is communicated into the second reservoir (15) via an outlet(s) (17) along the valve (4). The second and third sealing interfaces (29, 31) are closed when the plunger (2) is retracted into the barrel (3) thereby allowing fluid (37) to exit the second reservoir (15) via the nipple (5).Linvention concerne une seringue télescopique (1) appropriée à une utilisation avec des médicaments et dautres fluides éjectables ou injectables.
