The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an agarwood extract which comprises the following steps: a) pulverizing agarwood b) adding bioethanol to the pulverized agarwood to prepare a mixture c) extracting active ingredients of the agarwood from the mixture to obtain an extract and d) removing the bioethanol from the extract.
