The present invention relates to a system for separating vessels from a computed tomography angiography (CTA) image which can extract vessels adjacent to a bone without loss by automatically separating adaptive lower-extremity vessels based on a multi-segment volume, and to a method for separation. The system for separating vessels from a CTA image according to the present invention comprises: an auto segmentation unit for generating a multi-segment volume by automatically segmenting a CTA image using anatomical information on the bone； a bone area separation unit for separating a born area from the parts segmented by the auto segmentation unit； and a vessel separation unit for separating vessels in the image from which the bone area was separated, and restoring lost vessels.본 발명에 따른 다중분할볼륨 기반으로 적응적 하지 혈관을 자동 분할하여, 뼈와 이웃한 혈관의 손실 없이 추출할 수 있는 혈관 조영된 컴퓨터 단층 영상의 혈관 분할 시스템 및 그 분할 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 혈관 조영된 컴퓨터 단층 영상의 혈관 분할 시스템은 혈관 조영된 컴퓨터 단층 영상(CTA)에서 뼈의 해부학적 정보로 자동 구획하여 다중분할볼륨을 생성하는 자동구획부, 상기 자동구획부에서 구획된 부위의 뼈 영역을 분할하는 뼈영역 분할부 및 뼈 영역이 분할된 영상에서 혈관을 분할하고, 손실된 혈관을 복원하는 혈관분할부를 포함하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
