A suspension for a wheelchair is disclosed, wherein the suspension comprises: a frame, a motor carrier pivotally mounted on the frame to rotate about a motor carrier axis, a drive wheel having a bottom and mounted on the motor carrier to rotate about a drive wheel axis, a swing arm pivotally mounted on the frame to rotate about a swing arm axis, a swing wheel having a bottom and mounted on the swing arm to rotate about a swing wheel axis, a first contact surface coupled to move in concert with the motor carrier, and a second contact surface coupled to move in concert with the swing arm and configured to contact the first contact surface and transfer an upward force on the swing wheel into a downward force on the drive wheel.La présente invention concerne une suspension de chaise roulante, dans laquelle la suspension comprend : un châssis, un support de moteur monté de manière pivotante sur le châssis pour tourner autour d'un axe support de moteur, une roue d'entraînement ayant un fond et montée sur le support de moteur pour tourner autour d'un axe de roue d'entraînement, un bras basculant monté pivotant sur le châssis pour tourner autour d'un axe de bras basculant, une roue basculante ayant un fond et montée sur le bras basculant pour tourner autour d'un axe de roue basculante, une première surface de contact reliée pour se déplacer de concert avec le support de moteur, et une seconde surface de contact reliée pour se déplacer de concert avec le bras basculant et configurée pour entrer en contact avec la première surface de contact et transférer une force vers le haut sur la roue basculante en une force vers le bas sur la roue d'entraînement.
