The invention relates to an injection assembly for a flexible intraocular lens, consisting of an injector body (1) accommodating a sliding push member (2), and a compaction and ejection chamber (3) rigidly connected to said injector body. The injection assembly comprises a cartridge (6) receiving an intraocular lens (7) in a non-stressed state, said cartridge (6) being stored separately in a sterile container (32), and the compaction and injection chamber (3) is pivotably connected to the distal end of the injector body (1) so as to be capable of occupying two positions, i.e. a cartridge-loading position, in which the chamber is folded along the injector body, and an injection position, in which the chamber is aligned with said injector body. A tab (4) makes it possible to release the push member (2) when said tab is placed in a position for locking the compaction and injection chamber (3) in a closed position on the injector body (1).Ensemble d'injection pour lentille intraoculaire souple constitué d'un corps d'injecteur (1) logeant un poussoir coulissant (2) et d'une chambre de compactage et d'éjection (3) solidaire dudit corps d'injecteur. Il comporte une cartouche (6) recevant une lentille intraoculaire (7) à l'état non contraint, ladite cartouche (6) étant stockée à part dans un récipient stérile (32) et la chambre de compactage et d'injection (3) est articulée sur l'extrémité distale du corps d'injecteur (1) de manière à pouvoir prendre deux positions, une position de chargement de la cartouche dans laquelle elle est repliée le long du corps d'injecteur et une position d'injection dans laquelle elle est dans le prolongement dudit corps d'injecteur. Un cavalier (4) permet de libérer le poussoir (2) lorsqu'il est mis en position de blocage de la chambre de compactage et d'injection (3), en position fermée sur le corps de l'injecteur (1).
