PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skinfold thickness measuring apparatus capable of easily measuring a skinfold thickness of a subject by an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A skinfold thickness measuring apparatus for measuring the thickness of subcutaneous fat of a subject includes a heat resistor 113 for which a first temperature sensor 111 is disposed on a surface on the side to be in contact with a body surface of the subject and a second temperature sensor 112 is disposed on a surface on the side facing the surface on the side to be in contact with the body surface. The skinfold thickness measuring apparatus calculates, using an inputted body temperature value of the subject as a core temperature, a proportionality coefficient in a heat flow model in which it is defined that a difference between the core temperature of the subject and a temperature measured by the first temperature sensor in the state of bringing the heat resistor into contact with the subject and a difference between the temperatures measured by the first and second temperature sensors are in a proportional relation, and estimates the thickness of the subcutaneous fat of the subject on the basis of the calculated proportionality coefficient.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】安価な構成で、被検体の皮下脂肪厚を容易に測定することのできる皮下脂肪厚測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】被検体の皮下脂肪の厚さを測定する皮下脂肪厚測定装置は、被検体の体表面に接触する側の面に第1の温度センサ111が配され、体表面に接触する側の面と対向する側の面に第2の温度センサ112が配された熱抵抗体113を有する。皮下脂肪厚測定装置は、被検体に熱抵抗体を接触させた状態において被検体の深部体温と第1の温度センサにより測定される温度の差と、第1および第2の温度センサにより測定される温度の差とが比例関係にあるとした熱流モデルにおける比例係数を、入力された被検体の体温値を深部体温として用いて算出し、算出された比例係数に基づいて被検体の皮下脂肪の厚さを推定する。【選択図】図3
