Described herein is a hyaluronic acid-based composition comprising a hyaluronic acid-based polymer and a corticosteroid in the presence of a stabilizing amount of one or more stabilizing additives and related methods. The hyaluronic acid polymer used in the subject compositions and methods may be derivatized or non-derivatized, and may or may not be cross-linked.
