The invention provides a heat transfer composition consisting essentially of from about 62 to about 78 % by weight -1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234ze(E)) and from about 22 to about 38 % by weight of 1,1-difluoroethane (R-152a). The invention also provides a heat transfer composition comprising from about 20 to about 40 % by weight R-152a, from about 5 to about 55 % R-134a, and from about 5 to about 75 % by weight R-1234ze(E).
