PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which can support standing up of a person to be cared by providing a function to incline a seat surface by stepping on an attached pedal and also has a mechanism to smoothly convert driving force obtained by stepping on the pedal into inclination of the seat surface.SOLUTION: A function to incline a seat surface 2 by raising a rear part of the seat surface is achieved by a link 5 which can rotate around a rotation axis arranged below the seat surface 2 and a pushing up member 6 which is arranged so as to be turned around a distal end of the link 5 and has a curved shape at least partly.
