A sterilization wrap for wrapping an article to be sterilized, comprises at least one panel of sterilization material 32 and a chemical visual indicator 42 responsive to the presence of sterilant so as to indicate whether or not the article has been exposed to adequate sterilization conditions. The chemical visual indicator 42 is not visible when the article to be sterilized is wrapped with the sterilization wrap, and is only visible when the article to be sterilized is unwrapped.
