UNITARY DOSES FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF GHB OR ONE OF ITS THERAPEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALTS ADMINISTERED ORALLY AND USE THEREOF TO MAINTAIN ALCOHOLIC ABSTINENCE
The present invention relates to immediate-release unit doses of GHB or one of its therapeutically acceptable salts administered orally. These unit doses contain 0.32 and 1.9 g of GHB, especially in the form of sodium oxybate； when they are in oral form and more particularly in the form of granules, the latter contain, in addition to the active ingredient (50 to 60%), an effervescent agent (5 to 15%), a diluent (2 to 18%), a binder (3 to 10%), a solid core carrier of the granules (15 to 25%) and a coating agent / flavoring agent / sweetening / lubricating agent (3 to 6%). Application to the maintenance of alcohol abstinence in low or moderate alcoholic subjects, or in subjects with high or very high alcohol content, depending on whether or not they have hepatic insufficiency. La présente invention concerne des doses unitaires à libération immédiate de GHB ou de l'un de ses sels thérapeutiquement acceptables administrées par voie orale. Ces doses unitaires contiennent de 0,32 et 1,9 g de GHB, notamment sous forme d'oxybate de sodium ； lorsqu'elles se présentent sous forme orale et plus particulièrement sous forme de granulés, ces derniers contiennent, outre le principe actif (50à 60%), un agent effervescent (5 à 15%), un diluant (2 à 18%), un liant (3 à 10%), un support servant de cœur solide des granulés (15 à 25%) et un agent d'enrobage/ agent aromatisant / agent édulcorant / lubrifiant (3 à 6%). Application au maintien de l'abstinence alcoolique chez les sujets faiblement ou modérément alcooliques, ou bien chez les sujets fortement ou très fortement alcooliques, selon qu'ils présentent ou non une insuffisance hépatique.
