A protective flexible garment (1) for an animal (37) comprises a belly part (2) defining a longitudinal axis (X), side parts (3a,3b) extending on opposite sides of the belly part (2), a breast part (6) extending from a front end of the belly part (2) between the side parts (3a,3b) along a longitudinal axis of the belly part (2) towards a free breast part end.
