PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant sterilization device with use of hypochlorous acid having deodorant performance, capable of eliminating odor in a toilet, in the vicinity of a wet refuse bin, and in a room, in a long continuous period at low cost with safety, with reduced frequency for liquid refill.SOLUTION: In electrolysis of a chloride salt aqueous solution, the current value, the current ratio, or the polarity inversion ratio of electrode of non-diaphragm electrolysis and diaphragm (salt passage allowing for ionic conductivity with hardly any water flow) electrolysis is controlled, so that the ph and the hypochlorous acid concentration of the produced liquid can be adjusted. The produced hypochlorous acid is evaporated and discharged to the surrounding area for deodorant sterilization.【課題】次亜塩素酸の消臭力を利用して、トイレ、生ごみ箱周囲、室内などの臭気を、長期に連続して消臭する安全、安価で液補充頻度の少ない消臭除菌装置を提供する。【解決手段】塩化物塩水溶液の電気分解において、無隔膜電解、有隔膜(イオン電導はあるが水の流動がほとんどない塩路)電解の電流値あるいは電流量比率または電極の正逆極性反転比率を制御し、生成液のPHおよび次亜塩素酸濃度を調整して、生成した次亜塩素酸を気化させ周囲に放出し消臭除菌する。【選択図】図1
