The present invention relates to a transmitting apparatus and a method for transmitting two high frequency signals for a magnetic resonance tomograph. The transmitting apparatus includes a shielded balanced transmission line, a first signal driver, and a second signal driver. The signal drivers supply a first high frequency signal to a first conductor of the balanced transmission line and supply a second high frequency signal to a second conductor of the balanced transmission line. A shielding part of the balanced transmission line has an electrical connection part with regard to a common ground potential for the first signal driver and the second signal driver.
