A method for determining automated assessment of skin lesions identifies a suspect skin lesion. An Image capture system captured an image of the skin lesions through camera. An electronic Library contains diagnosed skin lesions, their feature vectors, symptoms, treatment plan and case history. A computer processing system carries border detection, feature extraction, feature reduction, classification and recognition and based on learning of data, identity of skin lesion is detected by comparing existing data in the electronic Library. A user interface reported the diagnoses of the diagnosed skin lesions that matches image of Query skin lesion.
